Collaboration

  1. WOW!!! Did you BREATHE? Good job. I especially liked the way you went through without a real pause. It showed familiarity with your work. I think that your one graphic with the world in the center connecting several computers together summed up the whole message.~~C. Penny Penagraph

  2. While watching your video I started to wonder how this information could be used in the classroom. I am working with a 5th grade teacher this summer to create a wikispace that will provide instruction, projects for her class and a means for collaborating.

I think your video is a success because it held my attention while supplying me with helpful information. Your voice was fluent and the project seem to be well thought out.

    SUPER JOB!

  3. Thanks ladies for the comments. Like we discussed the video was a bit intimidating but I think it came out ok considering it was my first one.

  4. Renee,

Nicely done! It was nice to hear everyone share the software they used to complete their project.

I think the power of collaboration can be enhanced through the use of the online tools you have discussed.

I'm very curious and excited to see what virtual worlds will look like in the next two to three years.

Here are a couple interesting websites on teaching foreign language in a virtual world:

  5. Thanks Jeff for following up on the virtual world sites. I will check those out this summer and see how I can implement them in my classroom. I really want to see if I can use them to grasp the attention of my students.
